How To Successfully Fundraise With Tiltify: Your Fundraising Checklist For Success
Tiltify is an interactive fundraising platform that offers unique engagement tools that help raise more per campaign than other platforms on the market.
If you’re new to Tiltify or are looking to take your fundraising program to the next level, our Checklist For Fundraising Success will help ensure that you and your fundraisers make the most of our tools.
Here is a list of the Top 10 priorities you should focus on as you grow your digital fundraising programs with Tiltify.
- Highlight your organization’s mission and impact across Tiltify. Do your banner photos and Tiltify page messaging tell a story that inspires fundraisers to become a part of something greater than themselves? As you know, people donate when they feel like they’re part of something greater, so make sure your campaign visuals and narrative are compelling and tell your organization’s story.
- Do you have a fundraising toolkit? Does your toolkit include social media assets, fundraiser talking points, clear fundraising milestones that align with your impact? Be sure to include fundraising ideas to inspire a broad range of fundraisers.
- Integrating Tiltify on your website: When a new fundraiser comes to your website, is it easy for them to find your Tiltify fundraising pages in three clicks or less? Include a prominent “Fundraise for Us” button on your homepage, which includes the option for fundraisers to support your Tiltify page. If you use more than one fundraising platform, give fundraisers the option to choose the platform or tools they prefer.
- Invite a broad range of content creators to participate: Rather than focusing on “Gaming” or “Streaming” does your Tiltify page encourage “Social Fundraising” and for a broad range of content creators, influencers and fundraisers? Do you intentionally create specific programs that appeal to different audiences? Ensure that your call to action is focused on impact or engaging activities, rather than the platform someone is using to post on social media (Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) Partner with fundraisers who are passionate about your cause and give them freedom to engage their audiences in creative ways, whether through challenges, live events, or collaborative content.
- Partner with your corporate team: Have you spoken with your corporate team about opportunities for your partners to reach new audiences and demographics? Corporate partnerships can play a huge role in the success of your campaign. Tiltify can create unique opportunities for corporate sponsors, beyond traditional galas or events. Explore new ways to engage corporate teams with digital fundraising challenges, matching campaigns, or branded incentives.
- Partner with your social media team: After all, the majority of this fundraising leverages social media. Are you using your social media to support your fundraisers? Thanking them on social? Highlighting their fundraising content? Use your platforms not just to promote your Tiltify campaigns but to support and steward your fundraisers, too.
- Train your fundraisers on how to use Tiltify’s most effective tools. Do you and your fundraisers know how to use Tiltify features such as Polls, Rewards, Milestones, Match Challenges? Make sure your fundraisers are familiar with these tools and how they can use them to triple their fundraising. Offer training sessions, guide fundraisers to Tiltify’s Support Center, or create easy-to-follow guides on setting up effective campaigns.
- Marketing Materials: Have you connected with prior Tiltify donors who have opted into email communication and invited them to start fundraisers? People who have contributed in the past are more likely to give again if they know how their funds have made an impact. Be sure to include Tiltify programs as part of your overall marketing strategy across web, social and other platforms.
- Get your fundraisers vested: Have you made asks and provided opportunities for your fundraisers to get involved outside of fundraising? Many fundraisers want to see how they can help further. Helping build content with you? Helping recruit? Coming to visit your mission? Remember that many of them have an audience who they can educate.
- Challenge your fundraisers: Fundraisers love challenges. Whether it’s running a marathon or engaging in a personal challenge, offer opportunities that push your supporters to go above and beyond. Does your program have anything that inspires fundraisers to challenge themselves? For creators, does it allow them to create content that may be interesting for their followers?
Tiltify provides powerful fundraising tools, but it’s how you use them that will determine the success of your campaigns. By focusing on clear goals, engaging creators from all types of platforms, leveraging corporate partnerships, and actively supporting your fundraisers, you can maximize your impact and reach more donors.
